Claim — School prevention changed CU/CD scores
Claim — School prevention changed CU/CD scores
Supported
The published paper reports Time × Group effects and later between-group differences in CU traits and CD symptoms.
Critical qualification
Only three schools were in the longitudinal prevention phase: one intervention school and two control schools. Treatment was assigned at school level, while the main analysis was conducted at the child level with repeated-measures ANOVA. The apparent N=304 therefore does not provide 304 independent randomized treatment units.
Do not translate this claim into
- a conventional 304-person RCT;
- formal CD diagnostic remission;
- independent replication;
- dissemination-scale effectiveness.
