Decision-making, selective-attention, and future-orientation deficits were associated with conduct-disorder presentations regardless of CU level; children high in CU traits without CD showed less risky decision making than children high in both CD and CU traits.

The result constrains an overly simple subtype hypothesis: not every neurocognitive deficit neatly separates CU-defined conduct-disorder groups.
